Has the long cold winter played havoc with your swim training? Well, we've found a 'crazy' new swim coach for you and he won't take any excuses (well unless it involves getting on a plane). 'Spring' into action and get back down to your pool or we may have to arrange a visit from Mr T! Names, of course, have been changed to protect the innocent.
We found a couple more classic adverts for you to enjoy:

Cuddledry Competition

Win this UV protection poncho from Cuddledry!
If you’re taking a toddler on holiday this year, chances are you’ll be worrying about how you're going to keep them safe in the sun. In addition to our stock of fabulous sun safe clothing we love this SPF50+ Poncho Towel from Cuddledry, makers of the award winning apron style bath towel, as featured on BBC’s Dragon’s Den.
The super soft towels use patented Rayosan™ technology, which acts like a mirror, deflecting the harmful UVA and UVB rays off the towel, instead of passing through the fabric and harming delicate skin.
The award winning towels, suitable for children aged one to three, are made using soft brushed cotton to give snag-free towelling. They have poppers under the arms which can be done up to create a loose ‘sleeve’ when worn, to help keep the towel in place and make it comfortable for its little owner. They are really easy to put on and take off, a perfect ‘throw on’ towel or cover up for swimming, beach, play time or bath time.
To win a Cuddledry SPF50+ Poncho Towel simply:
- email us a photo of your baby enjoying a cuddle (win@funswimshop.co.uk)
- or upload it to our Facebook page (you'll need to become a Fan of the page first)
- or twitpic with the hashtags #funswimshop #cuddledry.
Competition closes on Friday 26 February 2010. The winner will be selected at random and we'll let you know within seven days. Good luck!

Did you know that according to the latest Sport England's Active People Survey, swimming is the largest participation sport with 3,162 million people taking part every week?
Better still, last April the Government launched a free swimming initiative which means that millions are taking the plunge for free!
The free swimming programme is in support of Change4Life, the nationwide movement to help everyone eat well, move more and live longer.
Nearly 300 councils in England offer free swimming as part of this scheme. If your nearest pool isn’t taking part, you can still swim for free at another participating pool. Each has different terms, so check these out before you go.
While some will simply ask for proof of age, others will issue a special card you’ll need to bring each time. They may also issue a small one-off charge to cover the cost of the card. You can swim for free as many times as you like.
So go on, splash out on the kids this half-term. Learning to swim is a potentially life-saving skill as well as being fantastic fun!
